The Tamworth Rooster will trade the red and blue for blue and white in 2021 when he steps up into the Tamworth Kangaroos side.
He had three games in the seniors in 2020 which has left him hungry for more.
"It's definitely a big step - being so young and everyone being a lot bigger and stronger in the mens," Sing said.
"I like a bit of a challenge. I'm really looking forward to the tougher football."
Like several of his Rooster teammates, such as Bill Tydd, Sing makes the step up to seniors after a successful final year in the juniors.
The under 17s and under 14s outfits won their respective premierships in 2020. However, it was a bit of luck that saw Sing play with the Roosters.
After moving to Manilla from the Gold Coast - where he'd played AFL - Sing heard about the Roosters through a schoolmate last year.
That schoolmate was Jacob Vallender - son of Roosters coach Greg.
Jacob, who sadly passed away at the end of 2019, invited Sing down to have a run.
"I'd only just moved down here from the Gold Coast. He got me keen to do a training session and it just went from there really," Sing said.
The memory of Jacob spurred the Roosters on in 2019. Sing said the players wanted to win it "for him".
And then to get the outcome they were all chasing - a premiership: "It was probably the best feeling, really," Sing said.
"We didn't have a lot of numbers at the start and then we had these blokes come in from league, who didn't know a lot about AFL, and gave it a red hot go. We came out with the win at the end. It was a good feeling."
Sing will have to overcome some health issues before the 2021 season.

Sing has also had training runs with the Northern Heat post-season.
While he hasn't been able to go 100 per cent at the training runs, Sing said the training helped immensely in being able to iron out small problems within his own game.
In 2021 he wants to work on his game awareness and positioning so he can try to "be that one step ahead of everyone else."
