The meeting is QJC's biggest of the year and secretary manager Ted Wilkinson said the healthy crowd was well behaved.
"We had about 750 people there. They all had to practice covid protocols. I think they all had a good time and it was a nice day," he said.
Wilkinson added: "With covid, you don't quite know what people are going to do but to get 750 under all the circumstances is pretty good."

The weather turned it on as well with a maximum of just under 30 degrees while the rain held off for the majority of the day as well.
"We had a tiny sprinkle as racing finished for the day," Wilkinson said.
After rain earlier in the week, the horses raced on a Good 4 track.
Apprentice Casey Waddell had a day out with three winners - two for Gunnedah trainer Gavin Groth - while jockey Rachael Murray claimed the other two wins on the five-race card.
The Quirindi Jockey Club will now look toward their Cup meeting which will be run on February 19.
