Operation Southbreak - the Oxley police-led blitz that targets property crime - turned its attention to bail curfews, traffic offences as well as break-ins from Friday to Sunday, but it was the roads that kept police on their toes.
Six drivers were caught over the legal alcohol limit; four were charged with driving under the influence of a drug; 22 were slapped with infringements for a range of traffic offences; while one person was charged with a property-related offence.
"The number of alcohol and drug impaired drivers detected was disappointing," Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy said.

"But I firmly believe that the efforts of police who detected these drivers prevented an inevitable tragedy from occurring on our roads."
The high-visibility blitz involved uniformed police, as well as the proactive crime team, detectives, highway patrol and the region enforcement squad.
Police have warned there will be more operations rolled out in the lead-up to Christmas and New Year period.
