The Tamworth man is organising the city's first motorbike and hot rod cruise Christmas light tour on December 22, to raise money for charity Ronald McDonald House.
"I want to do it for the kids really, I was involved in a fairly large accident back in February and I have a second lease on life so I'm trying to do good things and do them a bit more often," Mr Clarke told the Leader.

He said anyone with any type of car or bike is welcome to join in - there is even talk of some World War II jeeps tagging along - for a cost of $20 per adult.
The hot rods, bikes and other sets of wheels decked out in festive theme are set to muster at the Western Ranges Motorcycles at 6pm, on December 22.
Mr Clarke is in the process of mapping out a Christmas lights tour across town, and afterwards he'll lead the charge out to Kootingal and then back in for a raffle at the Nemingha Tavern.
"It's been COVID and we haven't been able to do much this year, especially for charities, so this is what we've come up with," he said.
"If we can help the sick kids in hospital and make their Christmas a bit better, that's a really good thing."
Mr Clarke plans on releasing a map of the charity cruise so kids and enthusiasts can watch them fly by.
He said cash donations and raffle prizes are welcome, and all money will go towards Ronald McDonald House.
