"Lovin' it," he said of the new job. "The kids are good; they always keep you on your toes."
Commenting on the draw, Livermore said the match was "always in the balance".
"We lost a few wickets early, they were on top for a bit, and boys fought hard to get a decent score," he said, adding: "We bowled all right, got a few early. But Bective batted well to get the draw."
Both sides are still looking for their first win of the season.
Saturday's third round was changed from one-dayers to T20s due to the wickets not being prepared because of wet weather.
In other matches, Old Boys notched their first win of the season with a 116-run mauling of South Tamworth at Riverside 3.

In reply, Souths were dismissed for 74 in the 17th over. Opener Mitch Smith top-scored with 19, while Old Boys' best bowlers were Corey Sommers (4-16 off three overs) and Troy Sand (3-14 off four).
Meanwhile, City United made 3-145 - with openers Richard O'Halloran (46) and Brad Smith (41) top-scoring.
Norths then made 6-131; Sam Levick (41) and Michael Rixon (32) top-scored. City off-spinner Scott Brennan took 2-29 off four overs.
