Tamworth and Gunnedah's Northern Inland Credit Union (NICU) branches have chosen them for this year's annual 'Cookies For A Cause' fundraiser, with the proceeds going towards support programs for people living with mental illness.
Operational Supervisor Jeff Faint says Billabong Clubhouse is the place where local people come when they know they need support, but they are not sure where to start.
"More than anything, Billabong Clubhouse offers people a place where they can feel a sense of belonging," Mr Faint said.
