POLICE have uncovered a large stash of cash as well as drugs and other goods after raiding a home in Tamworth.

Oxley police have been investigating reports of drug dealing in the Tamworth area and homed in on a Flemming Crescent house in Coledale late on Thursday.
Several officers combed the property, after executing a search warrant just after 5pm, and discovered drugs and drug paraphernalia.
"Police located a quantity of drugs and drug paraphernalia and officers seized a large quantity of cash which we suspected to be the proceeds of crime," Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy told the Leader.

No one was arrested or charged but the goods were seized and are the "subject of further investigations".
"Police are continuing to make inquiries into the seizure of the goods and we expect to lay charges in the coming weeks," Detective Darcy said.
"We won't tolerate drug supply across the Oxley Police District and we would urge anyone with information on those persons suspected of being involved in that illegal activity to come forward and speak to police."
