A man is set to face court for a number of offences after police found prohibited firearms on his property.

On Wednesday morning, police from the New England Rural Crime Prevention Team along with Moree Detectives and Bingara Police attended an address in Bingara.
Police served a firearms prohibition order on the male occupant of the house before conducting a search of the premises.
During that search, officers located a small amount of cannabis, a military-style 'gel blaster' replica firearm and a crossbow.
The man is to be issued with a court attendance notice to attend Inverell Local Court for the offences of:
- possess prohibited drug
- possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit
- possess unauthorised prohibited firearm
- not keep firearm safely-prohibited firearm
