The annual Easter hat parade at the region's schools is something students, teachers and parents look forward to all year, Tamworth True member Joanne Stead said.

Photos of locals wearing their homemade hats must be posted in the 'Easter Hat Parade' Facebook event by Saturday night, to be featured in a slideshow on Sunday at around 1pm.
"I love going along to the Easter hat parade and watching the kids because they've all got big smiles on their faces the whole time," Ms Stead said.
Ms Stead said this year they're encouraging people to whip up something using bits and bobs they find in the cupboard and around the house.
