Representing North West, the eight-year-old broke the competition's record in the multi-class discuss event, finishing with a best throw of 19.10 metres.
The throw was enough to guarantee gold, but Earl was not done there.

She then went on to throw 5.74 metres in the shot put event to take home the silver medal.
The results meant Earl capitalised on strong performances at both school athletics and zone athletics levels.
Earl said she was nervous heading into the event because of a disrupted preparation.
"However, I had to go to Westmead Hospital because of a recent surgery, so I was a bit nervous about how I would go, but I was really pleased with my results."
