Chasing 188 for victory, the Bulls needed 10 runs off the final over.
Enter Brendon Matthews (22 not out) and Chris Paterson (10 not out), who held their nerve to secure the win.
The successful chase was set up by a 125-run opening stand between Jye Paterson (76) and Tom Hailing (46).
Wests captain Shaun Stevenson tried manfully with both bat (41 not out) and ball (3-41) to keep his side in the game. However, it would not be enough as Wests slumped to a third-straight loss.

Bulls captain Jye Peterson said he was proud of his side's ability to "stay in the game".
"Given the way our season has gone so far, it's a really good way for us to get our first win," Paterson said.
"We were in the box seat at drinks, but after that we did our best to try and lose it by losing three quick wickets.
"But for us to steady and go on to win was really pleasing."
Paterson said he was pleased to see his side succeed, despite missing key player Adam Jones due to representative duties.
"We did have a couple of guys step up and do a job for us, which was good," he said.
"Some experienced guys like Brendo (Matthews) and Dad (Chris Paterson), who came up from second grade, really held their nerve at the end there.
"When you need 10 off the last over it can be a bit iffy, but to see those guys get the job done was great."
Despite excelling with the bat, Paterson said his side would look to improve with the ball over the coming weeks.
"I thought we bowled really well early, until we had to come off for rain," he said.
"From there, we sort of lost that momentum and allowed Wests to get away from us.
"I guess the thing we will be working on going forward will be to try and keep that momentum going once we have it."
The Bulls will now turn their attention to a clash with Norths, while Wests will look to rebound against South Tamworth.
