A suite of helpful events is on offer for the new entrepreneur through to those wanting to grow their business.
Tamworth Business Chamber president Jye Segboer said although it was a tough time in town, it could be an opportunity to work on the business as well as in it.
"Of course the greatest challenge at the moment is the drought, and we know that a lot of our members are anywhere between 20 and 40 per cent down on turnover over the last quarter," Mr Segboer said.
"I think it's quite easy for people to get depressed in this sort of situation, but it's also an opportunity to look and review how you do things."
