POLICE have released security surveillance of a man wanted for questioning after a break-and-enter at a Tamworth shopping centre.

Officers are investigating the break-in at Tamworth Shoppingworld, on the corner of Bridge and Denne Streets, shortly before 1am on Wednesday.
Police said a man, shown in CCTV footage, was seen acting suspiciously in the carpark area at the time.
"Police haven't been able to identify the person depicted in the CCTV video in the carpark area," Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy told the Leader.

"The male was seen acting suspiciously in the carpark area of a shopping centre and we believe he could assist investigators with their inquiries.
"Police believe people would have seen the man, and particularly cars that were driving past around the time of the offence."
The man is pictured wearing a dark hooded jumper, colourful shorts and light-coloured runners.
No charges have been laid in relation to the break-in, and police are remaining tight-lipped on the circumstances surrounding the offence.
