Tamworth birdwatchers will be out in force on Saturday May 25, for their biannual Regent Honeyeater and swift Parrot survey.
The survey will be centered on the Barraba/Manilla area with locations to be chosen on the basis of reported sightings of the bird species and expected flowering of native trees.
Tamworth Birdwatchers welcomes new members.
Field trip details:
The field trip will leave at 8am from the car park behind the Community Centre, in Darling Street. Be there early so car-pooling can be organised.
What to bring:
Binoculars if you have them, and your morning tea, lunch and plenty of water.
