The Mushies are coming off two 2-2 draws last weekend against North Armidale and North Companions.
However, O'Keefe wants his team to take it a step further this week.
"I think we are pretty keen to put last week's results behind us, despite finishing with two draws," O'Keefe told the Leader.
"DK [Demon Knights] are coming into the game off the back of beating Tamworth FC last week, so it should be a good test for us."

O'Keefe said he would be looking to the midfield to lead the way for his side on Saturday.
"I think our midfield needs to try and get back to where we were last season," he said.
"They have been a little bit lacklustre so far this season and I think they are ready to step it up.
"I want to see them have that hunger to win and lead from the front."
Despite the Demon Knights ending Tamworth FC's Premier League winning streak, O'Keefe said he was "more focused on our side of things".
"In all honesty we don't like to focus on our opponents too much, we just like to look at what we can control," he said.
"They are a good side and will be full of confidence after knocking off Tamworth FC, so we will need to be on our game.
"I think my message on Saturday to our guys will be specific to their positions, but I just want our forwards to work hard, our midfielders to be hungry and our defenders to be safe.
"It's a lot of different messages but I wouldn't put it on them if I didn't know they were capable of achieving that."
