
Oscar Stanton-Taylor, seven months, didn’t look too sure about the prospect of zucchini at every meal for the forseeable future, after his big sister harvested this whopper from her garden.
Mum Jessie Stanton said the super squash was 41cm long and 38cm round, but since she didn’t own scales its weight was a mystery.
The veggie patch belongs to two-and-a-half-year-old Ahria, she said.

“We grow squash, star berries – which are Oscar’s favourite – pumpkin, sweet corn and tomatoes,” she said.
“We are planning to do a stuffed zucchini for dinner this week … looks like we will have the whole family around for tea that night.”
Miss Stanton said they were beginner greenthumbs, having started the patch only three months ago, so “no gardening secrets here”.
