Norths skipper Brendan Rixon said: “We’ve got too many players for the first week but we’ve got a lot out for the second week.”
Rixon will start the match in ominous form.
After struggling to capitalise on good starts, he has blasted two centuries this season.
That includes 131 off 200 balls in a rain-affected draw against West Tamworth last round.
Bective East are coming off a loss to City United and are chasing their first win of the season.
City rolled them for 123 and were 4-178 in reply when day two was washed out at No.1 Oval.
The victory would have given City a confidence boost.
They now have two wins for the season.
On Saturday at Riverside 2, they will face a South Tamworth outfit who produced a strong performance in a rain-affected draw against Old Boys at Riverside 2 in the last round.
Souths sit third on the ladder with two wins.
