Newcastle Permanent’s Cinema Under the Stars is back to light up the night in Tamworth for its 9th time.
The free, family-friendly event will be held at Bicentennial Park and will feature the blockbuster movie, Zootopia, rated PG.
Entertainment will get underway from 5.30pm with live music, kids activities including a circus workshop and small sided football, and once the sun goes down the screen will light up for the feature movie.
Entry is free for everyone and people are encouraged to bring along their picnic rugs and picnics, or purchase food and non-alcoholic drinks at the event, as they soak up the magical atmosphere of watching a popular family film in the great outdoors.
“As as a customer-owned organisation it is just one of the many ways we’re giving back to communities that support us,” CEO Terry Millett said.
