A TEENAGER has been flown to hospital with traumatic injuries after two boys were thrown from an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) when it rolled on a rural property west of Tamworth on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services rushed to a farm near Tambar Springs just after 8am after reports two 17-year-old boys had been injured.
Ambulance paramedics treated the two teenagers at the scene before the Westpac Rescue Helicopter flew in and the chopper's critical care team assessed the two boys.

One 17-year-old was airlifted directly to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle for specialist treatment for the multiple serious injuries sustained in the crash.
The second 17-year-old was driven to Tamworth hospital in an ambulance so he could be treated for his minor injuries.
A spokesperson for the helicopter service said the two teenagers were reportedly ejected from the ATV as it rolled.
