A TRIO will face court today charged after two men were allegedly robbed at knifepoint while walking down a quiet Tamworth street.

All three face a number of charges in connection to the alleged armed robbery and spate of break-and-enters.
Oxley Police District officers were called to Church Street about 11:40pm on Sunday after reports two men, aged 25 and 29, were approached by two strangers while walking down the street.
The men allegedly threatened them with a knife and demanded money, stole cash and personal items and ran from the scene.
The 25-year-old and 29-year-old weren't injured.
Police launched an investigation into the incident and ended up at a hotel on Ebsworth Street, where two men aged 22 and 17 were arrested, along with a 24-year-old woman.
The trio were taken to Tamworth Police Station, where the 22-year-old was charged with robbery armed with an offensive weapon; two counts of dishonestly obtain property by deception; and three counts of break-and-enter house steal.

Police will allege in court that a stolen bank card was used after the robbery to buy things, and will further allege that the trio broke into two rooms at a hotel in Tamworth.
All three were refused bail to appear before Tamworth Children's Court and Tamworth Local Court today.
