Norths picked up two bonus points and jumped to the top of the table after skittling their 2020/21 grand final vanquishers for 47 and then chasing down the runs in the 10th over for the loss of two wickets.
Greentree praised his opening bowlers, Brad Redshaw and Cameron Reeves, who finished with 3-9 and 2-16 respectively.

The veteran quick was also pleased that Norths showed composure in the run chase, recalling how Old Boys defended 56 against the Redbacks in the one-day final in 2019.
Greentree said: "Cameron Reeves and Brad Redshaw started really well for us, and we had a couple of good runouts as well.
"When you hold your catches and take your chances, like with possible runouts, it really makes a difference. It was an excellent start, and we went on with it."
First-grade debutant Sid Harvey affected the side's two runouts, including of No 3 Daniel Bryant for one.
At one stage, Old Boys - who went into the clash undefeated and leading the competition - had slumped to 5-7.
Norths spinner Michael Rixon took 2-1 off one over, while Old Boys vice-captain Jack Richards top-scored with a 27-ball 21.
Saturday's games were changed from one-dayers to Twenty20s and relocated due to rain earlier in the week.
Brendon Rixon top-scored for North Tamworth with 18 not out.
Elsewhere, both West Tamworth and South Tamworth recorded their first wins of the weather-marred season (it was the sixth round, but only the three round of completed matches).
At Riverside 2, Wests No 3 Daniel Collinson's 66 runs included a six and five fours - propelling the last-placed side to 7-126 against Bective East.
Jye Paterson (2-23) and Nick Hird (2-24) were the Bulls' best bowlers.
Off-spinner Jake Whyler then starred with the ball for West Tamworth, taking 4-13 off four overs as the undefeated Bulls finished on 8-111.
Wests skipper Jake Philip and fellow opening bowler Mitch Lincoln snared two wickets apiece, while Paterson and William Scholes both scored 25.
At Riverside 5, South Tamworth won the toss and made 9-147, with opener Mitch Smith (31) and No 6 Bryan Warren (30) top-scoring.
Tait Jordan and Andrew Baines took 2-25 and 2-31, respectively, for City United.
In reply, City finished on 7-117 - with Warren taking 4-15 off four overs opening the attack.
Jordan top-scored with 31, while Callum Henry made 25.
