Opening the attack, White claimed 4-13 off seven overs as Kookaburras were dismissed for 36 in the 25th over on a warm, sunny day.
It was a continuation of his excellent form from last season, when he captured a competition-best 30 wickets at an average of 9.40.

Albion finished on 0-38 in 8.1 overs after Damien Baldwin and Cady finished on 25 not out and eight not out respectively.
Cady described White's performance as "phenomenal".
"He was unlucky not to get five wickets," the skipper said, adding: "He's a good young kid, and he's a good bowler.
"One of the big differences with Ash is he really works on his game. A lot of other kids just play on weekends, but Ash always trains and does a lot of extra work on his own.
"And yesterday [Saturday] was the result of it."
Cady said Albion had several first-graders missing for the clash, and plugged the holes with second-graders.
Despite that, he labelled the performance as "very positive".
"We had a good day, really," he said. "Bowled well and we didn't drop any catches. It was a good team performance."
It was also good to be playing again, he added, after the season launch was delayed because of the pandemic.
"It's been that long since we've played," he said. "But, yeah, it was good to be back. Because a lot of us don't see each other that much, really, [except when playing cricket]. So, it's good."
The scoreboards were not available for Mornington's clash against Court House at Kitchener Park. but the Namoi Valley Independent was there to photograph the action (see above photo gallery).
