The men's, women's and mixed competitions kick off this week following on from the juniors and over 30 men who started last week.
Tamworth Oztag coordinator Pam Potts was thrilled players were able to get back on the paddock after COVID-19 cut the winter competition short.
"It's awesome," Potts said.
"There's a lot of work involved in getting it up and running again because we have to ensure that players are double vaxxed... but once that's done, then the first of December, comes we'll be able to welcome everyone back."
Senior team numbers are down from last summer, due to players needing to be double vaccinated, but Potts was still happy with the turnout.
"We had about 126 [teams] last competition and I think we have 117 this competition," Potts said.
"If I got 100 teams, because of the situation, I'd be happy."
