Police launched an investigation after an alleged game hunting offence at a property on Halls Creek Road, in Manilla, was reported to police last Sunday, August 1.
Inquiries led officers to a Westdale home in Tamworth on Wednesday and a search warrant was executed, according to Oxley police.

Police allege they uncovered and seized a Toyota Landcruiser ute and an unregistered firearm at the property.
Officers also claim game hunting gear such as several GPS tracking collars and devices, multiple pig hunting protective plates and collars, as well as a hand held spotlight, were found and seized as part of the investigation.
Police inquiries into the alleged rural offence are continuing.
Anyone with information has been urged to report it to local Manilla police or to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Manilla police and officers attached to the Oxley Police District have reminded all locals that preventing, disrupting and prosecuting rural crime is a priority.
Landholders are encouraged to remain vigilant and report suspicious behaviour to police.
