Two people were hospitalised after a two-car crash in North Tamworth this morning.

Two ambulances were called to the scene of the Bligh Street crash at about 8.45am on Thursday morning.
A spokesperson for Ambulance NSW said two patients had been transported to Tamworth hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries. It's not known if there were any other people involved in the crash.
Both patients were assessed at the scene of the accident by officers from Ambulance NSW, but were reportedly walking around after the crash, he said.

Fire and Rescue NSW Superintendent Tom Cooper said a local inspector had come across the accident on the way to work and called for a fire engine.
A pumper from Tamworth station 452 arrived and cleaned up the roadway, which had been affected by a spill.
Officers from Oxley police also attended the scene.
The accident comes after a fatal truck crash on Wednesday.
Police investigations continue into the circumstances behind an accident which claimed the life of a truck driver on Werris Creek Road at Duri at about 10.20pm on Wednesday.
