On Saturday they are at home at Boughton Oval for a crucial match against the unbeaten Roosters, who are coming off a win over North Tamworth.
Moree will host a Roosters side missing eight players.
They have lost Sam Taylor, Josh Kevill, Chris Hunt and Cameron McDonald to injury; Liam Hatch, Zach Hatch and Kurt Hartmann are in Coffs Harbour playing in the oztag State Cup; and veteran front-rower Phil Beaton is unavailable.
"[It's] going to be a tough day at the office at Moree with all those [players] out," Kooty coach Geoff Sharpe said.
"It's a real-backs-to-the-wall job.
"That game against Norths [Kooty won 30-12 at home] was brutal and took its toll on a few of our players."
Sharpe had hoped to name a side at Thursday night's training session.
The same could be said for a number of other coaches.
Injury and unavailability were a big factor when deciding the team lists for Werris Creek, North Tamworth and Narrabri.
Moree president Todd Mitchell said the games at Narrabri and Boggabri were "great days" despite the losses.
"Had big crowds for both," he said.
