The ambulance station in the town of Manilla will get a make-over to transform the space for the people who work there and help keep the community safe.
"These up-to-date and modern ambulance stations will be fantastic assets for the region, helping ensure our communities receive the timeliest emergency care now and into the future," Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson said.

The refurbishment will include improvements to staff amenities and the plant room, as well as other internal and external upgrades, such as new carpets and repainting.
Money for the project will come from the state government's $232 million fund dedicated to rural ambulance infrastructure.

NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard said revamping the Manilla ambulance station was important for those that rely on it.
"Our paramedics need the best possible workplace to provide emergency medical care," he said.
Work on the station is set to start later this year.
