A 29-year-old man was hospitalised after a two-car smash near Kingswood on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Whitehouse Lane at about 1.30pm after reports two cars had collided.
A spokesperson for Ambulance NSW said two drivers - a 29-year-old man and man in his 70s - had been injured after a four-wheel drive hit a sedan on the dirt section of the road, at the corner with Marsden Park Road.

The younger man was taken to Tamworth hospital for observation and a check-up after complaining of abdominal pain, the spokesperson said.
The older crash victim was left uninjured.
Five ambulance crews, police, the Kingswood Fire and Rescue NSW brigade, police and the Volunteer Rescue Association were all deployed to help with the emergency.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
The road was open, with traffic being directed by police, on Sunday afternoon before the sedan was towed.
