Locals had the chance to have their opinions noted when the unfunded masterplan was on display from February 11 to March 11.
TRC sports and recreation strategy officer Sam Eriksson said overall locals were "very positive", and there was a lot of "great ideas".
He said many didn't want "huge changes to the areas" included in the proposed masterplan.

These areas include the marsupial park; Tamworth Miniature Railway; the botanic gardens; astronomy and science centre; Tamworth Men's Shed; Arthur Emblen Park; Oxley scenic lookout; and the walking trail to Flagstaff Mountain.
"The community has really engaged in this project showing a real interest in the development of this premier tourist attraction," Mr Eriksson said.
"Numerous members of the community took the time to simply commend council on the project."
He said the face-to-face consultations were "well-received", but the most popular was the pop-up at the marsupial park.
"This was a great opportunity for members of the community to meet with council staff and discuss the project face-to-face," he told the Leader.
Now that the consultation period is over, Mr Eriksson said they would put an overview of the submissions on the MyTRC Online Community page once they were all compiled.
Then, Tamworth councillors will meet for a workshop on March 30 to discuss the "consultation results".
"All submissions will be presented to council, as an annexure to a council report, when the final plan is presented to council for adoption," he said.
A koala sanctuary, tourist train and new lookout are set to be some of the main attractions in the grand plan if it's funded by state and federal governments.
