The fullback joined the squad for their week-long camp in Tamworth after he was granted an early release from his contract with Penrith, having late last year signed a two-year deal with the Tigers for 2022 and 2023.
Speaking with The Leader this week, Maguire said the 21-year old rising star had been "very impressive" during the camp, although what role he will play he isn't sure yet.

"Sometimes it takes a little bit time to get an understanding of how he'll best fit into the team," he said.
"But look what I've seen just in the short period that he's been with us this week, he's an impressive young man and the way he gets about on the football field, he knows footy," he said.
"He's one of the guys that I can see can just read play very well and be in the right place at the right time."
"And the thing that I really do enjoy about him is how hard he wants to work defensively."
One of the hot topics around the Tigers heading into the opening round is the make-up of their halves following Benji Marshall's departure from the club and with Billy Walters, who is the only listed five-eighth on the club's roster, out indefinitely with a knee injury.
Adam Doueihi has been "doing a lot of training in and around five-eighth" but will miss the opening round through suspension.
Maguire will use the upcoming trials, the first of which is against Manly on February 28, to trial a few different options, with Moses Mybe, Laurie and even Jock Madden in consideration.
The Tigers wrapped up their week-long stay on Friday.
It was a busy week on and off the field, with on top of their training schedule the players engaging in a number of community activities, but an enjoyable one all the same and Maguire thanked the community for their hospitality.
"The boys have really enjoyed sort of getting away together, [it] gets (us) away from the Sydney life," he said.
"We all enjoy coming out to the country, and not only is it just training but it's a lot of the community stuff, which is going on around us, which we've thoroughly enjoyed."
He added that they are fortunate to be in a position to be able to go out into communities, and spoke about how rewarding it is to see the smiles on the kids faces.
"They're special moments that you spend with little kids or parents," he said.
The Tigers will return to the region later this year to take on the Cronulla Sharks.
