"It's one of the more rewarding aspects of our job, we enjoy the regional work, but to get out to everyone in the really rural and remote areas is incredibly rewarding," she said.
She and colleague Jo Lavelle, pictured, are gung-ho on encouraging not just carers or support workers, but anyone with an interest in caring positions to log into free online forums.
The first ever Creating Conversations: Healthier at Home Forums are free community virtual events running between February 16 and March 4.
They're designed to answer questions people have about accessing aged care services, delivered by experts in aged care and disability support services.
They are for those needing advice about their own service needs, and family or carers seeking information for loves ones.
Topics covered include services, funding options and service types such as meal plans, home and garden maintenance and nursing care.

"These people take you into their heart. And you take them into yours. You're providing care in a very personalised way. It's very rewarding, very challenging."
