Now the Tamworth trainer has scored three wins - from four runs - at two separate meetings in the past 11 days.
Both of the meetings Jeffriess accepted for were held at the Riverside Racecourse in Gunnedah and apprentice jockey Yvette Lewis rode all three winners.

Two of those wins have come for Call Me Brad - a gelding who thrives at the Riverside Racecourse.
The latest victory takes the eight-year-old's record to seven wins from 64 starts.
Four of those wins have come in Gunnedah.
Call Me Brad's last two wins - on December 5 and December 15 - were dominant as well.
On December 5 the gelding won by just under five lengths then yesterday Call Me Brad won the Kamilaroi Country Benchmark 58 Handicap (1300m) by 5.2 lengths.
He led from start to finish and never looked like being run down with Lewis in the saddle.
"He's got a really good record here. I think Lesley has him going really well. He's on fire, isn't he?" Lewis said on Sky Thoroughbred Central.
"I was lucky enough to get the split last start and he shot away.
"When I asked him today, he shot away again."
The other winner for Jeffriess came from Perhaps Deday in the Ultra Fleet F&M Maiden Handicap (1300m) on Tuesday.
After missing the start, the three-year-old filly went widest around the bend still in last place.
She did her most impressive work down the straight as she rounded up the field to score by 1.72 lengths.
Meanwhile, Gavin Groth flew the flag for Gunnedah in the Verdict Coffee Maiden Plate (1600m) with Raglan.
After jockey Casey Waddell found a gap down the straight, Raglan went through, hit the front and held on to beat the Kris Lees-trained Surf by a head.
