Tori Bricknell has just made the move to Kootingal after falling in love with the region during her visits with pop up stalls.
She has been madly scouting the region for others like her to fill the walls of Two Little Sisters Handmade Collective.
Locals who create beautiful things with their own two hands - a bonus if they're mummas too.
Local and handmade, Mrs Bricknell's store on Peel Street next to Bupa, is set to be filled to bursting with unique, handcrafted goods made right here.
"I've had hundreds of inquiries," she laughed, while saying she definitely has five local collaborators chosen already.
"I was unsure about how it would go, but now I have to go through them and decide which will fit what I am trying to create here."
With the Covid pandemic, everyone has witnessed a shift to shopping online.
She wants to bring it back home, and by the number of people stopping in the street to ask about buying wares in her unfinished store, the is huge demand for not just handmade and local , but also affordable.
"Two of my main things are making sure my goods are local or Australian to support them, but also that they are affordable.

"I'm a mum and I know what it's like, so these will be affordable, accessible, but of the highest quality."
One of her fellow collaborators is local Nicole Jones.
"With corona, people now want to support local and shop small," she said.
"I've already seen a huge jump in people buying from my Etsy page. I lost my job ... but with the Etsy page I now know I've got a customer base and I really believe this will work."
Doors are set to open next week, so stay tuned to her Facebook page.
