Market organiser Sam Brodie said the day was even better than she'd hoped.
"We couldn't be happier with the local support and the amazing atmosphere on the day," she said.
Ms Brodie said COVID marshalls were monitoring social distancing and extra hygiene measures were in place, but said everyone behaved well.
Tamworth Growers' Market got the tick of approval from Tamworth Regional Council to return to the park every Saturday from 8am to 12:30pm.
