Top-order batsman Adam McGuirk returned to the sport this year, while teen quick Landan Price is in his debut baseball season, said Cougars ace Brock Ridgewell.

Ridgewell, a pitching and fast bowling double threat, played against the youngsters when he took the field for West Tamworth against Old Boys last season.
Cougars beat Outlaws 9-4 at Field of Dreams 1 on Saturday.
Ridgewell, who has represented NSW in baseball, said Price was going "really good".
As for Cougars, he said the side showed grit against Outlaws.
"We're going all right, considering we lost four or five players from the premiership-winning side last year," he said.
"Things didn't go our way [against Cougars]," he added "... but we stuck in the game and our bats came alive late in the game."
In their second game on Saturday, Outlaws beat Warriors 12-3.
