Amendments put forward by the Shooters Fishers and Farmers MP Helen Dalton, would see MP's water trading and ownership declarations 5 years retrospective. These were voted down 42 to 45, Government choosing protection over transparency.
We are often told if we have nothing to hide, we have nothing to worry about, so what have Liberal/National MP's have to hide? These actions fuel conspiracy, not put them to bed.
Mr Anderson, who voted against this amendment, needs to explain why he supports secrecy, conspiracy and not transparency. After all, he is employed by the very people begging for this legislation.

Free and democratic society
The Federal Government is concerned about the influence of dissident voices on free media citing China and Russia as spreading false information on covid 19 and Government policy.
Have I missed something, I don't recall any Russian or Chinese voices in the information about covid 19 that I have seen. Is opposition to Government policy not allowed in Australia? Seems a rather authoritarian, totalitarian position in a "free" and "democratic" society.
Perhaps it is more concerned about dissident voices within Australia asking questions like, "please show us the rigorous safety studies ie double blind placebo and peer reviewed tests on vaccines before you require mass vaccination programs.
The slogan "my body my choice" should equally apply to vaccines as to abortions in a "free" and "democratic" society.

Time for change
By all letters written concerning the state of Government be it Local, State or Federal, in fact the hole aspect of dealings be it the selling of land business or policing, l honestly believe there has never been a better time in our history to call a vote on what tier of Government should be removed Local or State. We have States with different laws, registration, pollies duplicating laws, no real honesty or respect for we the people, as both politicians and police in most cases are a law unto their own.
With respect to the uniform and office held, we in Australia have seen corruption lies and sales in many ways by having one federal law controlling all including Policing law and order.
Those whom make these laws l hope will realize balls up; you get one term as the elected members we have today are total and utter a waste of monies with no respect or honesty in any shape or form.
