OXLEY police have seized a gel pistol as well as drugs during a late-night raid on a home.

Acting on information, police from Tamworth searched the house in Fitzroy Street in Barraba, about 90km from Tamworth on Friday night.
Officers, including the Oxley Target Action Group (TAG), detectives and general duties police, raided the home about 10pm.
Inside, police seized what they allege is methylamphetamine, cannabis, a gel pistol, and drug paraphernalia.
A 30-year-old man was arrested by police as part of their investigations.

He was taken to Tamworth police station and questioned before being charged with two counts of supplying a prohibited drug, as well as dealing with the proceeds of crime.
No charges have been laid in relation to the gel pistol.
He was granted conditional bail to front Tamworth Local Court in July.
It was one of two raids in three days by Oxley police last week after they combed a Calala home.
Patrick Richard Kerr is accused of using or supplying a stolen firearm or part; possessing a shortened firearm without authority; not keeping a prohibited gun safely; and possessing ammunition without a permit.
The Oxley Target Action Group (TAG) raided the Tamworth home on Calala Lane about 1pm on Wednesday.
During the search, police allegedly uncovered a shotgun, ammunition, methylamphetamine, mobile phones and a safe, which were seized.
Police have confirmed investigations into the Barraba seizure are continuing, but are calling for public help.
"If you have information that can assist our investigators, we would like to speak with you. Your information will be treated in strict confidence," Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy said.
