The loss of the club on January 3, 2017 was a devastating blow to the community but those same community members rallied together to rebuild the club from the ground up.
Now, on Saturday, the community and everyone that helped restore the club will be thanked at the official opening of the club.
"We've had a lot of help along the way. Local council has been very helpful and the support from the local community has helped us get through the process," Willow Tree Bowling Club Peter Wilkinson said.
Mr Wilkinson added: "We've invited a lot of those people that helped us and volunteered.
"Also past members and other people that have been involved with the club from the start are coming along."
Mr Wilkinson said it had been an at times "frustrating process" to get the bowling club back up and running.
But with that behind him, Mr Wilkinson said he was "really looking forward to the future" of the modern venue.
"There's a lot of emotion there - one is probably a bit of relief to get to this point," he said.
"It's a great space and we're still finding different ways for the community to utilise it."
The club first opened on March 24, 1962 and Mr Wilkinson said some of the founding members would be in attendance on Saturday. The club will open at 11am with some complimentary finger food to be served around 12.30pm.
Liverpool Plains mayor Andrew Hope will then officially reopen the bowling club at 2pm.
