The first match on Group 4's grand final day - headlined by the first-grade clash between North Tamworth and Kootingal-Moonbi - was one-way traffic after Dungowan quickly responded to an early second-half try by Dungowan to lead 22-4.
It had been 16-4 at the break.
Dungowan closed the match in style - running in two tries to establish a 32-4 lead with eight minutes left on the clock.
Gunnedah scored a late consolation try.
In the next match, the undefeated Bears play the Cowgirls in the league tag grand final.
