Nyssa Ahshay did not enter pleas to her four charges during her first appearance in Tamworth Local Court on Monday.
She is charged with driving recklessly or furiously or in a speed or manner dangerous, before the crash on the New England Highway, north of Bendemeer, on the morning of June 13.
Police claim Ahshay was behind the wheel of the northbound Holden Commodore when it crossed to the wrong side of the road, crashing into an embankment.

A 69-year-old man, who was a passenger, was trapped in the wreckage and had to be freed by emergency services. He suffered a fractured right wrist and ribs, and was taken to hospital.
Ahshay is also accused of causing bodily harm by misconduct while in charge of a vehicle, negligent driving and not keeping left of a dividing line.
Magistrate Julie Soars adjourned the charges on Monday, ordering Ashay back to court to enter pleas at the end of September.
The 34-year-old was first charged by police from the Crash Investigation Unit in July, after investigations into the single-vehicle crash that shut the highway.
