It has sat dormant for many years, but the old house on the corner of Griffin Avenue and Bourke Street could be reborn yet.
A development application has gone on two-week public exhibition and with the community encouraged to provide feedback.

The applicant, Monteath and Powys, has applied to have boundaries adjusted on four adjoining lots on Griffin Avenue to pave the way for future residential developments.
But with one of the lots home to a locally heritage listed dwelling, it has raised questions about its future.
The building, believed to be previously a minister's residence attached to the Uniting Church on Marius Street and later a station master's house, is listed on the Tamworth Regional Council heritage register.
But it is unclear what the development will mean for the old building.
It is a building of significance considering its history.

According to the developer's statement of environmental effects, there is no demolition on the cards.
"We have noted that there is a local heritage listed existing dwelling on proposed lot 2 which is being retained on site and is not being altered in any way with this proposal," the statement read.
"The proposal has been well considered and will result in functions that will accommodate future development within the sites' prime position."
Councillor Juanita Wilson said the building and its potential future had been discussed by the heritage working group she currently chairs.
"It is a building of significance considering its history," Cr Wilson said.
However, Cr Wilson wouldn't be drawn on what the building could be used for in the future.
Last year, the council blocked a development application which sought to demolish the disused West Tamworth train station.
The councillors noted the historical significance of the site and it was suggested at the time there was an opportunity to turn the building into a new public space.
