However, it will not be the first time the 2019 Tamworth Regional Council Sportsman of the Year will compete in Belgium, having previously competed at the under-13 level in 2015.
Davis told the Leader he was looking forward to the challenge of going up against the world's best.
"This will be my first world titles as a junior elite, which is exciting," Davis said.
"It's always exciting going to the world championships, but it is also nerve wracking going up against the best in the world.
"I'm looking forward to the challenge for sure."
Davis has been preparing for the World Championships with a solo-tour of the United States.
The preparation has also acted as a recovery program for Davis after he suffered a broken collarbone in March this year.
"Training has been going really well and it has been really consistent," Davis said.
"I haven't had any problems with the shoulder as of right now, which is super lucky."
The World Championships competition will conclude on July 27.
