Member for Tamworth, Kevin Anderson congratulated Vicki McIvor on her NSW Seniors Local Achievement Award and said it was fantastic recognition for Vicki for her work in the Walcha community.
"Vicki has worked tirelessly throughout the Walcha community and is involved in the Walcha Hospital Auxiliary, RSL Women's Auxiliary, CWA, Walcha Festival Committee, Community Consultative Committee, Walcha Show Committee, Walcha Citizen of the Year 2015, Walcha Garden Club and Meals on Wheels," Mr Anderson said.

"Vicki also volunteers her time to help out other organisations like the Walcha Lions Club and participates at street stalls, race days, the local show and other local events.
"Volunteers are the cement that binds our communities and I have nothing but admiration and praise for their selflessness and drive, giving to their communities countless hours of support with plenty of smiles thrown in.
