Drivers of all ages took to Tamworth’s Oakburn Park to stake their claim for this year’s title with the championship standings being tight leading into Sunday’s event.
With 27 drivers vying to pass the chequered flag first, the large crowd in attendance was treated to some expert driving and some unexpected surprises, such as a rogue fox who decided to get an up-close look at the track.

However, it was Kees VanderHorst driving a Westfield Clubman who secured a memorable victory.
Fellow Westfield drivers Gundy and Daniel Hunt were close behind finishing second and third respectively.
VanderHorst’s victory was not enough to secure the 2018 club championship, with Brad Antoniou taking out this year’s honour.
Antoniou’s sixth place finish during Sunday’s event was enough to secure himself and his Mazda RX8 top honours for 2018.
