POLICE have seized a car as part of the investigation into a collision involving a ute and a cyclist on Saturday.

The woman, aged in her forties, was riding along the Nundle Road with another cyclist about 2pm when she was struck by the dual-cab ute, at the intersection of Lindsays Gap Road.
The woman suffered serious injuries and was rushed by paramedics to Tamworth hospital before she was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle on Saturday night.
She remained in a critical condition on Monday night.

No charges have been laid and the investigation into the incident continues.
