F2F physiotherapist Jess Walker and Myo and Barn’s Brooke Carrington are hosting the inaugural expo, which they hope to hold twice a year.
While it is going to be a “very informal, meet and greet style” gathering, the list of guest speakers is impressive, and that is the point, showing local mothers that the Tamworth region is brimming with professionals and professional services, and connecting them.
The speakers include Birth Beat’s Edwina Sharrock, breast-feeding nurse Maria Ryan, paediatric physio Luke Wakely, diabetes expert Kate Ryan, and dietitian Kylie Norman, as well as Mrs Walker and Mrs Carrington.

“We really just want to get the information out to local families about the great services in our region,” Mrs Walker said.
“We also want to create partnerships between the families, and the services themselves, so everyone can get the most out of them and have the best maternity experience they can, from the start all the way through.”
For Mrs Carrington it is all about access, and gaining better outcomes for all mothers and families.
“Just knowing what help is out there and how to access it can make all the difference,” she said.
“It can make the pregnancy, birth and recovery a better experience.”
The Expo kicks off at 9.30am on Saturday June 16. Entry is free, and bookings can be made by contacting F2F, or via the Facebook page.
