The local community played host to the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea and the locals were certainly keen to do their bit.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the event, and the Cancer Council is hoping to raise over $4.9 million to help those who are affected by cancer.
My motivation is to make research happen until we get a cure.

Janelle Tongue hosted the Loomberah event. It was her 10th time.
“I host a morning tea for family reasons, my mother had breast cancer at a young age,” Janelle said.
“Most families are affected by cancer.

“My motivation is to make research happen until we get a cure, and in the meantime, make sure money is available so that people in their current state of treatment are getting what they need, especially in the country.”
