The new building addition to the CH on Peel is nearing completion, with scaffolding taken down from the Brisbane Street work site this month.
Owner, Jye Segboer said work on the interior fit out of rooms is under way.
“We are in the final stages of construction,” he said.
“The fit out has commenced on the interior of the building.
“We are following the same interior design works as the current building, it has a real Art Deco feel with a lot of blacks and greys throughout the fit out.”
It’ll be all systems go until opening day for the business, with hopes to be able to fully service the influx of crowds expected in the region for AgQuip in August.

“We look to be opening on the first week of June at this stage,” Mr Segboer said.
“By Agquip we will definitely be fully operational and ready for that period of time.
“I’m excited, I think this is a wonderful product to have in the CBD.
“The rooms are quite over sized and all with king-size beds.
“There are small kitchenette areas aswell and balcony areas.
“It is very unique for Tamworth and the CBD.
“No other property in Tamworth offers fully undercover parking.”
Construction on the new hotel quarters has come a long way from a pipeline dream proposed by the business in 2016.
The process saw the demolition of the old BWS Liquor Store to make way for the new building in 2017.
Since then the building has taken shape before the very eyes of CBD spectators. The five-storey building will include about 33 hotel units over two levels, a new entrance lobby and reception area.
