A TAMWORTH man has been refused bail after allegedly leading police on a foot chase through Coledale.

Police were called to reports of a break-in in Quinn Street about 12.30pm on Sunday.
Richard Cutmore is accused of running from officers, into a Kenny Drive home before police stormed the house.
He was arrested and taken to Tamworth Police Station.
Police said Cutmore, 19, was wanted for several property offences and was charged with a string of offences including two counts of break-and-enter with intent, two counts of damaging property, armed with intent and intimidation.

He spent the night in custody and appeared in Tamworth Local Court on Monday afternoon.
Cutmore pleaded not guilty to all offences and lodged a fresh release application but it was denied by magistrate Roger Prowse.
Police have been ordered to compile a brief of evidence and the case will return to court in June.
