As tradesmen return to work after the Christmas break, owner Jye Segboer says the project should be finished by early June.
Construction on the multi-million-dollar development began in late 2016 with the demolition of the old BWS building to make way for the new complex.
The five-storey building is set to include 33 rooms, a new entrance lobby and reception area.
“All is on track at the moment, we’re a couple of weeks ahead and on track to finish late May or early June,” Mr Segboer told The Leader.
“The penthouse floor is now complete and that is the final floor.
“The roof is on and now they’re starting to render the exterior of the building and fitting out the windows.
“Hopefully around March we can start the interior fit out.”
Mr Segboer said he was pleased with the progress of the building so far and happy with the work of builders and contractors.
He said the hotel would soon be taking bookings for the new building with major events in their sights.
“They’re certainly keeping the project on track and amicable with whatever needed to be changed,” Mr Segboer said.
“We’ll certainly be open for AgQuip in August as well and will start to take forward bookings for that in March, once we know firmer timelines.”
